It was a very busy week for Dorade and crew, with the yacht being loaded onto a yacht transport ship on Monday, July 3rd in Long Beach, California and beginning its over 7,000 mile voyage to Brisbane, Australia where it will kick off its “Dorade Down Under” Campaign. This will be the first time the 52-foot yawl takes on this region and its waters. The team will compete in six events off the southern coast of Australia before taking on the 628-nautical mile Rolex Sydney Hobart Race in December.
The ship delivering Dorade to Brisbane is expected to arrive later this month.
