Dorade wins at the 5th Edition of the Corsica Classic Regatta

Dorade won all but one of the six races in the 5th Edition of the Corsica Classic Regatta, held from August 23 – 31, 2014. In the Regatta, Dorade raced with a fleet of classic boats, including one of the “Daughters of Dorade”, the S&S yawl Argyll.

Dorade won the Regatta overall and was presented both the Corsica Classic Cup trophy, as well as the Napoleonic Eagle, presented by the Mayor of the City of Ajaccio, Laurent Marcangeli. Ajaccio is the birthplace of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.

Dorade is presently sailing from Corsica to Caen and St. Tropez to meet the other “Daughters of Dorade”, Skylark, Argyll, Stormy Weather, Cometa and Manitou, as billed by in the December 2011 issue of Classic Boat Magazine.
