Dorade wrapped up the Gaffers Day Race this past Sunday (October 8) taking first place in the Bermudian 1 PurHC Division. See following update from team’s Tactician Kevin Miller.
“The event was a huge success with several hundred people coming by to see the boat and many boats coming by for photos while we were on the water. We took first place in our division and had the honor of having our trophy given to us personally by the Prime Minister of Australia. He thanked us for bringing the boat here and participating in the event.
“It was unbelievable to have the Prime Minister give us the trophy and shake hands with the team. The welcome we received in Sydney has been terrific.”
