SoCal 300 Kicked Off Today

Dorade kicked off the 245-nautical mile SoCal 300 today. The offshore race from Santa Barbara to San Diego is the final event in the team’s West Coast racing circuit. From there, the 52-foot Sparkman & Stephens yawl will showcase in the Newport Beach Wooden Boat Festival on June 10 before heading to Australia to kick off its “Dorade Down Under” campaign, which consists of six events off the southern coast of Australia, culminating with the 628-nautical mile Rolex Sydney Hobart Race in December.

The SoCal 300 is part of California Offshore Race Week. Track the team along with the rest of the fleet real-time on YellowBrick Tracker: http://yb.tl/corw2017

Stay tuned for an update after racing.
