Matt and Pam's passion for wooden boats extends beyond Dorade to Lucie, a 1931 Six-Metre built for Briggs Cunningham by Nevins on City Island by Clinton Crane. Acquired and restored by Matt to join the fleet in 2011, here she is sailing upwind in strong breezes at Newport Classic Yacht Regatta in 2016.

A Dorade sighting in the wild, found in the scrapbook of none other than General George S. Patton. After sailing from California to Hawaii in 1936, he spotted her tied up at the dock. Many thanks to @graymeyer for sharing this gem with us! We love hearing from our Dorade community, especially when you have stories and photos to share!
