After winning the Corsica Classic regatta, Dorade and I have a huge morale boost. I arrived here with Dorade and the crew at our birth in Port Grimaud with high spirits and eager hands. Our birth is next to another classic, Vagabundo, with three talented shipwrights working next to us. A perfect environment. Tim and I are here preparing Dorade for her next regatta. Other than prepping for the race, I have done some deck caulking repairs, fabrication of interior door catches, and begun cockpit varnish work. It is an honor to be entrusted to care for Dorade and to get to put my hands and mind to use. Port Grimaud is an amazing port, with beautiful sights around every corner. Typical travel is using the inflatable. Living on Dorade, working on Dorade, traveling by boat, in Port Grimaud….. Dreams do come true.
