On a rainy sunday, the Dorade team had one race, sailed well, and won the Astor Cup with NYYC Rear Commodore Chris Culver at the helm.

At the recent Annual Meeting and prize giving in New York City, Dorade was awarded the 2nd Place Trophy for the 2012 New York Yacht Club Annual Regatta, IRC VII.
