Davis G. Murray the “master of deviation” made the trip over to Coral Bay from Saint Thomas yesterday to help sort out our compasses. Using his sun reading compass we re calibrated the B and G flux gate compass to exact precision. The box compass was adjusted and Davis wrote up an appropriate deviation table. With the tender, we pulled the boat in circles around her mooring line, checking accuracy as she spun. Nice to finally have this sorted out!
