This is the new stem piece. The final splining and faring have begun. The new stem head fitting will allow for Dorade to be sailed in her 1931 configuration or a similar configuration to her

Shown here is the new stem piece. It took 3 tries to get a suitable piece of oak. At bottom is the cabin just after getting the first coat of varnish.
