After months at the Loughborough Marine Interests shipyard in Portsmouth, R.I. undergoing updates and preparing for the 2017 season, 52-foot Sparkman & Stephens yawl Dorade is ready for action. The classic wooden yacht was loaded this week for transport across the country to California where it will compete in a series of races this spring before trekking halfway around the globe to Australia for an ambitious summer campaign.
