DORADE loaded onto SUPER SERVANT 4 this morning. A full ship for this passage to St. Thomas. It was the perfect morning for it, and all boats were loaded quickly and safely. The ship plans to depart Tuesday with unloading scheduled for the 13th. The loading was delayed a day due to high winds.
Photo 1 is of the carrier as we motored past yesterday prior to sinking itself. Next we see the ice on deck this morning and a calm sunrise as the loading commenced.
DORADE turned a lot of heads, even all covered up. The only wooden sailboat on board, and thanks to the refit team definately the most protected. I want to say, this will be the first time DORADE has been to the Caribbean. Does anyone know if she has spent time in the islands? Perhaps on passage to or from the Pacific.
