What a difference a year makes! A lot happened inside and out to the cabin house during the refit. The bottom photo is from this time last year. I thought this would be a good place to start our refit recap as the work of so many craftspeople is represented in this one area. From the brand new plywood and canvass by MHBW, to Bro’s beautiful new hatch and garage. From the new cordage by Rig Pro and New England Ropes to the new winches by R and W and Meissner. From the Leather work by Katie at Okto to the fresh paint and non-skid by Matt and Joe at Diversified. All the varnish that was laid by Robbie and Ramsey. And of course the beautiful boom crutch, crutch mount and vent cap cover by Dan. Not to mention the various attempts at waterproofing the eyebrow and the portholes. It is amazing how much thought and talent it takes to see a project like this through from start to finish. and this is only a small part of the refit! I am happy to report that the cabin house is leakproof, the winces are spinning well, the boom is level with the waterline, and the finish work is shining!
