Good Evening Matt,
Off the top of my head from stern to bow and back…
Added an eye strap on the mizzen boom as far aft as possible for the staysail block.  The block was on the same bail as the dead end for the mizzen sheet.  This was not a great lead.
KVH dome is at Hood Sailmakers for a cover to look like a binnacle.  The old picture looks a bit like a witches hat.  Can we take some artistic liberty with this?
Aft most stanchions are being fit.  Tricky to gain the needed strength as there is no access to the under side.  We are letting in a welded plate that gussets the bulwarks to the covering boards.  This will provide the necessary fore and aft strength needed in place of thru bolts.  Once these are down (2 days) we will measure and build the life line wires.
Radar bracket in the design phases still.
Life ring holders, vintage throw bag complete (photo does not show location).  2nd ring with NYYC burgee on the way.
Best quality cams (same as ones on mast ) for the mizzen runners installed.
Drilling for mizzen belay pins tomorrow.  Pins will be turned once sail slides are complete.
Cabin top paint and non skid prep begins tomorrow.
Low profile fair leads for track are nearly done.  Also changed pins in blank cars from stainless to bronze.
Flush pad eyes for table and harness clip in set in to cockpit sole.
Flush pad eyes for life raft mount set in to deck.
Measured and ordered preventer set ups for main and mizzen booms.  This is a Bermuda race reg, but also will be handy in Caribbean.
Spare rigging from Rig Pro delivered.
Taller stand offs for the pole lift cams have been installed.
Running lights wired and wires covered with tan cover braid.
Sail track slides tested, and back for some fine tuning.  Will be at North by Thursday to get stitched on.
Awning arrives tomorrow for final hoist.  I will order the fwd awning.
Modified sail covers delivered.
Figured out how to cleanly run the main halyard to the foredeck winch for sending folks aloft.  Winch works great in electric mode, but not so great in manual. An issue I have been working on with Holmatro.  A rep has been to the boat, and I have gone through it carefully to rule out installer error. Works for now, but I will solve this.  They may have to send us a new winch.
“Soft” locking method for the fwd hatch sorted.
Fwd cabin deck beams in satin varnish.
Head coming together.  Shower on / off valve installed.  Labeling on order.  Toilet seat off for epoxy paint.
Watermaker installed under port side upper saloon bunk.  Electrical connections in the works.  control panel being mounted in desk.
Fitting to hang folding table in saloon complete.  Flush eyes for securing table in.
Floor boards fastened for Bermuda regs.
Aft floor grating lift eye installed.
Fixed fire fighting in the works.
Aux start for engine built and ready for wiring.
Moved Kerosene tank to locate fireboy tank correctly.  The tank can now be pumped by opening the “false” door in the aft galley bulkhead.
Galley cabinet build out complete.  Paint and varnish underway.
A busy week for sure, but each tradesman has a good handle on their list and the deadline.
Best,
Kyle
