Dorade arrived in Castine, Maine on Monday to prepare for the Castine Classic Yacht Regatta, which kicks off on Thursday, August 4. The 20 nautical-mile race to Camden feeds into the Camden to Brooklin race on August 5 and the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta on August 6, all of which Dorade will be participating in.
This year’s Castine Classic Yacht Regatta, sponsored by the Castine Yacht Club, will honor both Dorade and another famous yacht, America. Both yachts will be on exhibition at the Castine Town Dock starting at noon on Wednesday, August 3.
