Good bye Rhode Island!

Hello Caribbean!

DORADE made the transit on Dockwise safely with no damage, other than a lot of salt and soot.  The off loading went as well as could be expected.  It was a challenge explaining to the Russian line handlers that DORADE backs in circles, and that they would need to keep the boat going straight for the 300 ft exit.  A good tropical rain squall gave us a jump start on the washing, and she is docked in St. Thomas at Yacht Haven.  We are looking to make the 20 mile passage to Coral Harbor on St. John tomorrow.   As we get her put back together, we will post a series of photos to re-cap the re-fit.  The tradesmen and women never really got a chance to see their work in showing condition.  We will do our best to get some shots for them.  Stay tuned!
