Dorade is replacing its Taylor kerosene stove / oven with what was its original 1st choice – a custom propane Luke Heritage “Model 3” Galley Stove and Oven. The Luke Model T (two surface burners only) is Luke’s newest stove. It features reliable Force Ten burners, a black anodized aluminum top with brass accents.
Just in from Frank Luke is this update on the fabrication of the new stove / oven and photos of the stove in progress. The brass elements really give this a nice period touch.
Another important milestone – now that most of the stove is together, it’s time to check and see if it’s weighted correctly.
