Coming out of the refit and re-launch, Dorade and the team has shifted gears. We have to switch from refit mode to race mode. This entails getting the containers organized, inventoried and shipped, rigging the boat and tuning the rigs, done by Rig Pro Southern Spars, and loading the gear. Myles and I are finishing dressing Dorade with all the bits and pieces, and rigging, the race crew is arriving for the training session this week.
We were able to overcome the hiccups of the re-launch and continue right on schedule to prepare for the Trans-Atlantic race. Starting with the training session this week. Matt and Pam arrived in Newport on Thursday evening and came to see Dorade on Friday. Dorade has been eagerly awaiting their arrival to be re-united when Matt and Pam stepped aboard once again.
On this beautiful Sunday, I would like to wish a happy Mother’s Day to Dorade and Pam Levy. I would like to also wish Lisa Evans, Diane Markstein, and Sandy Bellico a happy Mother’s Day! We would all be lost without all you moms.
Thank you and Happy Mother’s Day!
