We are not just in a bar drinking Tequila while held-up in Turtle Bay waiting for better weather.
The delivery back-up from Cabo has been so far extremely wet and bumpy. Nevertheless, this return trip back from Cabo has been a valuable shake down for the boat and having a crew on spending multiple days and nights at sea in some bad weather. This has bought to my attention a few new snags that require some attention.
Also while the crew has been stuck at anchor for a few days, we have been using the time to get all the routine maintenance up-to-date.
Hannah is going to be working on an overall video of the Cabo Race and it should be complete when we get back to San Diego.
Its very windy in the bay here, but nice and calm. We are maintaining an anchor watch and the holding seems very good. A few other Cabo Race boats are close buy and everybody is thinking Wednesday departures.
